The K series is something that speaks to my  appetite for all things music. Growing up, I could not get enough of what was on the radio. I realize now what a restricted diet that appliance served up to all of us. But it was our collective reality. Today, music is everywhere. Many people believe somehow music has lost it's magic because of it's ubiquity.  I was involved in radio and various forms of music distribution and I believe the opposite is true.. The barriers to entry have come down.  Technology has put music in everyone's pocket . Anybody can be a somebody. You too can be a legend in your own mind. There was a business model  that kept most people out but now the gatekeepers have become the enablers. I say yes to that! It does take a lot longer to find the great stuff though.​

          About 6 years ago, I came across a instrumental of Golden Years by David Bowie. He was known for releasing tracks for remix before any other big stars did that type of thing....I loved it and just sang along. I knew this song cold. The K Series was born right then. I had the time, the gear and a shameless inclination to imitate the Great. Karaoke is humbling and it's frustrating. But it's also great fun. It's a deep dive into listening and can get you closer to the music you love. With the AI software available, you too can sing with the best.
